cartography, takes part in the 60th Venice Biennale 2024.

There is a procedure for folding and unfolding the Petticoat Government
flag, so that anyone can use it whatever the type of ceremony. On 9
December at 3pm, the flag raising will kickstart the project. After
Leuven, the flag wil be taken to the Alps. There, it will take on the
role of a tablecloth, before being hung as a curtain in the Belgian
Pavilion.

Save the date 2 ────┐
At around midday on 9 March 2024, the giants and partner communities of
the Petticoat Government collective, on their way to Venice, will stop
off at the Resia Alpine pass, close to Austria and the Swiss canton of
Graubünden.On the shores of a lake covering a submerged and potentially
frozen village, the performative event, will take on the form of a
gigantic picnic. This will be the Alpine chapter of the long-term
collaborative scenario to which everyone is invited.

Afterword ┐
Beyond stigmatizing individually-based practice, the project selected
for the Belgian Pavilion of the Venice Biennale 2024 underlines the
feasibility of a collective 'doing together'.

Spam and the commercial exploitation of standard email make it very
difficult to produce an email that is graphically complete, visible
without hindrance on the myriad media on which you read us, and free
from the surveillance of mailchimpized platforms. So we prefer to rely
on the scale of the text format for which the email was designed in
1965, give a core of images compatible with the 24-character width of
the smallest screens, and give you the url under each image so that you
can view them in full option.

Il existe une procédure pour plier et déplier le drapeau de Petticoat
Government, afin que toustes puissent l’utiliser quel que soit le type
de cérémonie. Le 9 décembre à 15h, le lever de drapeau est le
déclenchement du projet qui, après Leuven, est déplacé vers les Alpes
pour prendre en métamorphe le statut de nappe avant d'être suspendu en
tant que rideau dans le Pavillon belge.

Le 9 mars 2024 vers midi, les géant·es et les communautés partenaires du
collectif de Petticoat Government en route vers Venise, font escale au
col alpin de Resia, à proximité de l’Autriche et du canton suisse des
Grisons. Au bord du lac couvrant un village submergé, et potentiellement
gelé, l’évènement performatif qui prend la forme d’un pique-nique
gigantesque est le chapitre alpin du scénario collaboratif au long cours

Plus que la stigmatisation d'une pratique individuelle, le projet
sélectionné pour le Pavillon belge de la Biennale de Venise 2024
souligne la faisabilité d'un ‘faire avec’ collectif.

Le spam et l'exploitation commerciale de l'email standard rend très
difficile la production d'un email qui serait graphiquement complet,
visible sans encombre sur la myriade de supports sur lesquels vous nous
lisez, et débarrassé de la surveillance des plateformes mailchimpisées.
On préfère donc faire confiance à l'échelle du format texte pour lequel
l'email a été conçu en 1965, donner un carottage des images compatibles
avec les 24 caractères de largeur des plus petits écrans, et vous
refiler les url sous chaque image pour les consulter en full option.

Er is een procedure voor het vouwen en ontvouwen van de Petticoat
Government-vlag, zodat iedereen deze kan gebruiken, ongeacht het soort
ceremonie. Op 9 december om 15.00 uur is het hijsen van de vlag de
aanleiding voor het project dat na Leuven naar de Alpen wordt verplaatst
om de metamorfose van een tafelkleed aan te nemen voordat het als
gordijn in het Belgisch Paviljoen wordt opgehangen.

Op 9 maart 2024, rond het middaguur, houden de reuzen en
partnergemeenten van het collectief Petticoat Government, op weg naar
Venetië, halt op de Alpenpas van Resia, vlakbij Oostenrijk en het
Zwitserse kanton Graubünden. Aan de oevers van een meer dat een
ondergedompeld en mogelijk bevroren dorp bedekt, vormt het performatieve
evenement, dat de vorm aanneemt van een gigantische picknick, het
Alpenhoofdstuk van het lange-termijn samenwerkingsscenario waarvoor
iedereen is uitgenodigd. Binnenkort meer informatie!
Nawoord ┐
Het Belgisch Paviljoen van de Biënnale van Venetië 2024 wil niet zozeer
het brandmerk zijn van een individuele praktijk als wel de mogelijkheid
onderstrepen van een collectief aan de slag gaan met wat voorhanden is.

Spam en de commerciële exploitatie van standaard e-mail maken het erg
moeilijk om een e-mail te produceren die grafisch compleet is, zonder
belemmeringen zichtbaar op de talloze media waarop je ons leest, en vrij
van de bewaking van mailchimpised platforms. Daarom vertrouwen we
liever op de schaal van het tekstformaat waarvoor de e-mail in 1965 werd
ontworpen, bieden we een kern van afbeeldingen die compatibel zijn met
de 24 tekens breedte van de kleinste schermen en geven we je de url
